Polka Dots: A Timeless Classic

Anyone who knows me in real life knows I freaking love polka dots. I just love them. They make me happy, they look good and it's a pattern that fits on anything. When I walk into a shop I seem to gravitate toward anything with polka dots on, whether it be a top, dress, skirt, jumpsuit. If it's got polka dots on, you bet I'm buying it. It's one of those patterns that will always be on trend, stylish and timeless.

I have found my favourite piece of clothing to see polka dots on has to be culotte jumpsuits. You see I'm very much a comfort kinda gal, I'd happily spend my entire life in leggings but, sometimes I like to mix it up a bit. I love culotte jumpsuits because they ARE SO COMFY, I genuinely feel like I'm wearing PJs when I'm in them. I feel like part of my problem as well is that I'll pretty much buy anything black, so I am trying to branch out a little more even if the black only has some white spots, it's a start. Right?

Another one of my favourites that I've purchased recently has to be this brown polka dot jumpsuit from New Look (£27.99). It comes in black too and it's super cute. I think it's perfect for the day out somewhere, a date and can even be dressed up for nights out. New Look are pretty much killing it with the culotte jumpsuits right now.

Primark is also doing polka dots justice right now, the jumpsuit I am wearing in these pictures is from Primark and it was only £10! Bargain. I can't link it unfortunately as we all know what the Primark website is like, all I can tell you is I bought it a couple of weeks ago from my local Primark. It's bad but, I pretty much live in this jumpsuit, especially during the heatwave. There's lots of polka dot items in Primark at the moment, including blouses, trousers, tops and more. So, I recommend taking a look.

I decided to style this with a white H&M t-shirt underneath (£3.99), as I am obsessed with that look at the moment. Except to see more. I just think it's a nice touch, especially if with Autumn on it's way.

What's your favourite pattern to wear at the moment? Let me know in the comments!
