MAC STUDIO FIX DUPE: ONLY £1.99, WHAT?

As a Student, I can't always afford lavish high-end make up as much as I wish I could. So, because of this I have been a mission to find good and reliable dupes for my favourite brands and products to share.

I used to religiously use MAC's Studio Fix pressed powder in the shade NC15 not just everyday but also whenever I went out for a special occasion or a night out. However, I never really got around to getting myself a new once after I ran out. Hence why I am keen to share with you all my all time favourite replacement powder which is only... wait for it... £1.99!!! If you are like me and use pressed powders on a day-to-day basis and want to avoid regularly paying £23.50, I highly recommend purchasing yourself a Collection Pressed powder in Superdrug or Boots.

I use the lightest shade (Candlelight 01), it gives a nice light coverage without the powdery look. I love using this product when baking my face as it helps to finish the setting process and creates flawless looking skin.

I've seen a lot of other bloggers, Youtubers and websites recommend the Rimmel Stay Matte powder also as a dupe for MAC studio fix, yet the Collection powder is definitely my favourite one. There's a reason everyone loves Collection at the moment, always good products for good prices.

Here is my face when using this powder:

For this look I simply just used MUA Hydro Primer, Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, Collection pressed powder and RMCA no-colour powder for my base, not one drop of foundation. I hope this is a good example for anyone wanting to get this powder to see how good the coverage is on my skin. Highly recommend!

  1. I've been on the hunt for a new pressed powder so I think I might have to give this one a try! I love the collection loose powder for baking but it can get very messy so this should be much easier! Great post x

  2. I actually think that sometimes the cheaper powders are better, i've recently been using one from Primark which was also £2! Will defo look into this one though - Collection makeup is so underrated!
